YOUR LOOTBOX HAS LEFT THE FACTORY! YIPPEE!

Hi Backers,
Some very exciting news today, your LOOTBOX production has been checked, packed beautifully in our recycled card boxes, and has left our factory for the road journey to the shipping port. We had a few delays with getting the locks made, but these finally arrived a few days ago. Even though each LOOTBOX on the outside looks the same, we ended up having 16 different SKU’s, due to different countries and different chargers, so we had to be extra careful packing to ensure everyone gets exactly what they ordered.
Depending on where you live in the world, shipping will take between 30-40 days, and then there will be short courier trip to your door. You will get a tracking number from the local courier once the LOOTBOX has arrived in your country, but not during the sea freight stage.
We will also be adding some simple video instructions to our website in the coming weeks, and there is a QR code on the packaging to take you straight there once you open the box.
Everything looks amazing and bulk turned out better than we could have hoped. This is one super high-end box! There is still a few who are yet to pay for shipping via your Backerkit surveys. Please check your spam if you have not received this yet.

LOOTBOX Production update

Just a quick update on the status of your LOOTBOX. We have had some delays in production due to technical issues with the lid. In bulk, welding the lid developed some bends due to the heat, and we noticed some small scratches where welds were polished. Therefore, after much brainstorming we came up with a solution to use a Swiss industrial adhesive. Don’t worry it’s not your average adhesive, this is similar stuff that they use to hold Lotus sports car frames together, and some city skyscraper frames, and due to the larger contact area it has higher strength than the spot welds. Best of all it leaves the Anodized and bead blasted aluminum lids clean and smooth from defects.
On top of this, we have had to source some special recycled cardboard protection to ensure the LOOTBOX is safe for the journey to you, whilst also being environmentally friendly.
The bad news is the factory has now advised production will be finished on April 26, with shipping added this will mean late May to your door. I hate it when products run late; however making sure our first production run is top quality is our highest priority.

Hello lovely backers!
We are in full swing producing the first batch of 120 LOOTBOX’s for our lucky early backers. We are also finalizing the packaging details to ensure your LOOTBOX is safely and sustainably shipped to your door. See below for early CAD design of the box made from recycled & FSC approved card. We will also include a QR code link on the box to online instructions and help section.
One small change from the initial campaign is the 60w chargers originally had one USB-C port. However, we have just learnt that this model is no longer available from our manufacturer, and their new model has done away with the USB-C port in favor of two USB 3.0 Quickcharge ports (instead of one). We actually think this is an improvement, as most users will have regular USB cords in their home, but not USB-C, and they are 30% more powerful. For customers who ordered the 100w chargers, or upgraded to these via our Backerkit Survey these have no changes.
From today it will take another 20 working days to complete the making of the LOOTBOX’s, then they go to our logistics partners who will check over everything, add chargers, or any cables purchased via Backerkit, and mark the boxes with addresses from customers all over the globe. We will ship orders via sea, then by road to your door, which will take roughly 30 days. So all going smoothly we will still hit our expected delivery of April, although at this stage it is looking like late April, not mid-April as first hoped.
We also plan to have 10 units stock in the United States, and 10 units stock in Australia available via Amazon and through our web store. So, if your friends or family love your LOOTBOX, they will be able buy from a limited quantity online, before we make our next production run.
